Install StreamX on Your Device
Follow the simple step-by-step instructions for your specific device.
Enable Unknown Sources
Navigate to Settings → Security (or Settings → Apps & Notifications → Special app access → Install unknown apps on newer devices). Enable permission for your browser to install apps from unknown sources.
Download StreamX APK
Visit your StreamX Dashboard from your device's browser. Click the "Download StreamX APK" button. The file will begin downloading automatically.
Locate & Install
Open your notification bar or go to your Downloads folder. Tap the downloaded StreamX APK file. Press "Install" when prompted. Wait for installation to complete.
Open & Enjoy
Once installed, tap "Open" or find StreamX in your app drawer. The app will set up automatically. You're ready to stream!
Enable Developer Options
Go to Settings → Device Preferences → About. Click "Build" 7 times rapidly to unlock Developer Options. Then navigate to Settings → Device Preferences → Developer options and enable "Install from unknown sources".
Install Downloader App
Open the Google Play Store on your Android TV. Search for and install the "Downloader" app by AFTVnews. Open Downloader and allow browser permissions when prompted.
Download StreamX
In the Downloader app, enter the StreamX website URL. Navigate to your Dashboard page, log in with your credentials, and click the download button. The APK will download and prompt you to install.
Install & Launch
Follow the on-screen prompts to install StreamX. Once complete, find the app in your Apps row or go to Settings → Apps → See all apps. Launch StreamX and start streaming on the big screen!
Enable Apps from Unknown Sources
From the Firestick home screen, go to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options. Turn on "Apps from Unknown Sources". If Developer Options is not visible, go to Settings → My Fire TV → About and click on your device name 7 times to enable it.
Install Downloader App
From the Firestick home screen, go to Search (magnifying glass icon). Type "Downloader" and install the app by AFTVnews. Open Downloader and grant any requested permissions.
Download StreamX APK
Open the Downloader app. In the URL field, enter the StreamX website address. Navigate to the login page, sign in with your account, go to your Dashboard, and tap the download button. The APK file will start downloading.
Install & Find the App
After downloading, Downloader will automatically prompt you to install. Click "Install". Once done, click "Open" to launch immediately, or find StreamX by going to Settings → Applications → Manage Installed Applications. You can also hold the Home button and select "Apps".
Pro Tip: Add to Home Screen
To add StreamX to your Firestick home screen for easy access, go to Settings → Applications → Manage Installed Applications → StreamX and select "Move to Front". StreamX will now appear in your recent apps row.
